About Ryan
Ryan Sendef is a Chicagoland-based audio engineer and musician.

From an early age, Ryan loved listening to music, especially the classic rock of the 60s and 70s. Always listening with an attentive ear, Ryan wondered how the music that he loved got to sound the way that it did. This sparked a lifelong passion.
In middle school, Ryan joined band and discovered the thrill of performing music. In high school, he switched over to choir, and started to write and record his own original songs, also becoming involved in theatre. Once he got to college, he started to learn about the mixing and mastering process, and instantly fell in love with the technical side of music making. Ryan graduated from North Central College with bachelor's degrees in Theatrical Design & Technology and Theatre: Acting.

After graduating from North Central, Ryan started at SAE Institute Chicago, where he is currently completing his diploma in Audio. At SAE, he has honed his craft and learned more about the music-making process, from music theory to analog and digital signal processing, from electronic music production to audio for film and TV. Ryan will graduate from SAE confident in his skills and ready to enter the audio industry.

Since 2020, Ryan has spearheaded several solo music projects as composer, producer, and recording, mixing, and mastering engineer. These projects have taught him so much about himself as an artist and engineer, and he has built up a discography that he is very proud of. In addition, Ryan has been a recording engineer on other projects, like Micah Turner's Eclipse, and has been the sole audio engineer on projects from clients like North Central College's Tonacity A Cappella.

Ryan is a dedicated, creative, and collaborative artist with a passion for every aspect of making music.
